The Carlisle strives to keep its residents healthy and informed about their personal health by offering a variety of outlets to meet the needs and preferences of each resident.
Joining one of our daily morning exercise classes is always a great way to start the day. Or you can stay tuned to current health issues by attending one of our presentations through the activities department. Each week, a licensed chiropractor visits The Carlisle to facilitate back health and once a month, a licensed podiatrist meets with residents looking for "happy feet."
Our newly remodeled Fitness Center is a great place to find cardio equipment to get your heart rate going and weights to maintain your muscle strength. You can also join in when a personal trainer holds a class on proper use for each machine and recommends beneficial workout plans.
Health for the body and the mind go hand in hand, and here at The Carlisle, we offer a variety of activities to keep your mental skills sharp. Whether you join the Mind Games class to exercise your brain with trivia questions and puzzles or play bridge and crosswords to "jog the gray matter," you can stay keen at The Carlisle.
Adjoining our Fitness Center, you will also find our Wellness Center, which is staffed 24-hours per day by a licensed professional. Here, you can find help with more specific health care concerns or coordination with doctors. Our Wellness staff can also facilitate and provide assisted living services in the privacy of your condominium if that level of care is needed.
